LAKE VIEW
1 Hour (riding time)
Adult NZD$170, Child NZD$140
Consists of a beautiful trek through the larch and pine forest to the leading south ridge of Mt John, with fantastic views of Lake Tekapo and surrounding station country, then descending down to the lake and finally walking back through the larch and pine forest. This trek is suited to beginners.
Minimum age 6 years
* Children under 16 must have an adult accompany them on the trek
MOUNTAIN TOP
2.5 Hours (riding time)
Adult NZD$250, Child NZD $230
A stunning ride looping Mount John with a breathtaking view of the lake from a high vantage and, from the North end of the mountain, breathtaking views of the Alps and the huge expanse of the Mackenzie Country.
Minimum age 8 years (unless the child has plenty of horse riding experience)
* Children under 16 must have an adult accompany them on the trek
GLACIER COUNTRY
Half Day / 4 Hours
NZD$350 per person
Depending on the weather, this is a ride that takes in the other rides features, but you get the chance to travel on horseback to Lake Alexandrina on the western side of Lake Tekapo. You will appreciate how harsh this land must have been to the early settlers whilst travelling back across this part of The Mackenzie Basin. An absolute must for camera enthusiasts. (Minimum 2 persons).
Minimum age 9 years (unless the child has plenty of horse riding experience).

PRIVATE BOUTIQUE TREK & PICNIC
Allow 3 Hours
NZD$960 per couple
Available Mid-November – Mid-January
Enjoy a unique trail riding experience in Lake Tekapo with our Horse Ride and Picnic package.
Our package includes a 1-hour private trail ride (just you, your loved one and one of our awesome guides to show you the way) and a horseback photo shoot from Mt John overlooking the stunning turqouise waters of Lake Tekapo.
Specially prepared gourmet picnic hamper including a complementary bottle of bubbles for you to enjoy either prior to or at the conclusion of your ride.
Note:
Any dietary requirements please stipulate on booking, there may be an extra charge for this. More people can be added to this trek at an additional cost for both horse and food. $200 per extra adult, $150 per child.

The weight limit for all treks is 115kgs (Please advise us if you are over 90kgs).
We close during the winter months. Child rates apply to those under 15 years.
