Our weight limit is 115kg, you will be asked your weight vs height at time of booking. Please be honest as it is vital that we consider the comfort and welfare of our special equine friends. Each horse has its own maximum weight limit and it is important that we match you appropriately.
* Children under 16 must have an adult accompany them on the trek
It is also important that you have a reasonable level of strength/fitness to be able to get on and off your horse (with the aid of a mounting step) and balance yourself whilst onboard your horse for a long period of time.
For health and safety reasons we reserve the right to cancel your trek with no refund if you arrivce on the day and are found to be over our weight limit or unfit to participate in this activity.

LOCATION & DIRECTIONS
We are located at Lake Tekapo, which is in the central South Island of New Zealand. Two and a half hours drive from Christchurch International Airport on State Highway 8, the main tourist route to Queenstown and the West Coast.
If coming from Christchurch, head south on State Highway 8 until you reach Lake Tekapo. Drive through the village, and turn right onto Godley Peaks Road (approx 2km from the shops).
We are located 800m along the road on the right hand side.
If coming from Queenstown, Mt Cook, Wanaka, head north on State Highway 8, and take the first left after the Tekapo airport (Godley Peaks road). We are located 800m along the road, on the right hand side.
